“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
We could all learn some very valuable lessons from this movie. When was the last time you totally disconnected from technology or your to-do lists and took time to fully be in your present moment?

That’s right. If you’ve been feeling off for awhile. If what used to work or satisfy, doesn’t anymore, than welcome to the transformation! This article will give you a good explanation of how the energies are changing.

“This transformation that is occurring is an inner stretching of consciousness expanding. We are recalibrating our understanding of reality as individuals and as a collective.”
The mistake most people make with the ego, is to either deny it exists ( ” What ? Me? I have no Ego”) or giving it too much power.
Either by seeing it as the enemy or allowing it to be in control. We need our egos, they serve a function…. but, the ego is meant to be the servant, not the master
Our conscious self needs to be the one making our decisions in life, not our egos. Our egos simply report what’s going on. But, if we are not present ( asleep at the wheel ) our egos have no choice but to take over and start perceiving reality for us. This article in Forbes, gives great examples how it can feel, when ego takes over. – Pat Novak
“What part of the financial world has the most potential to derail a person’s personal finances? Is it political or economical? No . . . I believe that the greatest threat to a person’s financial happiness and well-being is the threat of Ego.”
Misconception # 1
One of the biggest misconceptions about the “Shadow” is, it is your enemy. You’ve been told, if you don’t deal with your Shadow, it will deal with you. Sounds pretty ominous right?
Your Shadow is not your enemy. It’s not there to sabotage you. It is not there to hurt you. It is there to help you, because it holds that which needs to be disposed of and that which needs to be accepted, in order for you become real.
It holds what you need in order for you to become whole, in order for you to accomplish what you have come into this lifetime to accomplish. It is not your enemy.
It takes awhile to really understand the Shadow. The movie “The Shadow Effect” by Debbie Ford,
which included Deepak Chopra and Marianne Wiiliamson, was a beautiful and heartfelt project. Feedback from many people who saw it was, they understood the general idea, but not what The Shadow meant in their daily lives. It’s so important to understand The Shadow and the misconceptions.
So, what is the Shadow? The Shadow is made up of all the stuff that you have denied. The stuff about yourself that you discount, that you defend yourself against, that you distract yourself from. That you pretend doesn’t exist or ( if if it does exist ) are “no big deal.” The Shadow is all the stuff that you learned to resist and that you refused to accept. This includes the dark and light aspects of yourself.
What most people have done is create an alliance with “the Idealized Self” or the negative ego.
The negative ego is the unauthentic self which seeks approval by others. Don’t be yourself, be whatever it takes to be accepted. Just fit in and be normal, be idealized, be whatever people want you to be to gain approval. Don’t accept yourself, just be accepted by others. When it come to the Shadow, the Idealized Self will say,
“Ok, you’ve found your Shadow, don’t look any deeper. It’s nasty and ugly. So run away.”
Even those on a spiritual journey may deny the Shadow, as they only want to focus on the “positive” and the “light” aspects of themselves. The truth is, until you make peace with your Dark Shadow, you cannot truly embody your Light Shadow.
Briefly, your Shadow is the friend of the “real ” or “authentic” you. You need to shift alliances from the Idealized Self to your Shadow. The Negative ego always lies. The Shadow always tells the truth.
” The Shadow contains the Lost Depth of Soul. And it contains the Lost Depth of Spirit. Of an imagination that imagines itself, of a creativity that creates itself. That is where that stuff is. The Shadow has it – not as ransom, but as a gift when you are willing to own it and make peace wih it and accept it. “
You are not alone.
Just know that. Eat that. Believe that. And then start acting like it.
Stop walking around like you’re IT.
Like you’re all that matters ( or doesn’t matter ) in this tiny world of yours.
Start connecting. Start caring about other people. Let people know you care. Let people get to know you. Let people in. For Christ’s sake,
LET PEOPLE IN !
Believe that you can love. And be loved. Believe there are those out there who know how to love you. Maybe not perfectly. Help them. Reach out and ask,
“How do you want to be loved?”
Then tell them how you would like to be loved.
Love every chance you get.
To my parents:
I’m sorry, for not being what you wanted me to be. Which was something, I believe you felt, would have redeemed you in some way. I made a point that redemption would never be yours.
I apologize for that. That was punishing. Punishing you for not seeing or liking ME.
Pissed me off really.
But, I am sorry for spending so much time trying to prove you wrong.
You’re human. We all deserve a chance to fuck-up.
To my daughter:
Go for it! You are amazing! More than you know! Find love that is good and true. Express who you truly are. You are golden ! You are beautiful ! And I love you more than words could ever express.
Know that and keep it in your heart always. I know you are loved and watched over by heaven above. I know you will be all right. Hell, you will be awesome! Because you have it all in you!
To my love:
I miss you, I miss you, I miss you.
I can leave peacefully. I know there is a world where we go. I know I am welcomed there.
For those who don’t know this, please find out, while you’re still on earth.
It makes things so much easier.

( Gwen Bell – 15 minutes to live exercise )
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.
“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.
“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.
One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”
“The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.
The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

“When you’re strange, faces come out of the rain, when you’re strange.” – The Doors.
The first : ” Oh no, she di’ent !”
The second: I know why she did.
Some background info: Allison DuBois is a a famous Medium,
who is known to have assisted Law Enforcement officials solve crimes.
The TV show “Medium” was based on her.
Here is a quote from Ms. DuBois:
” Figuring out our gifts in life is part of our journey to becoming enlightened human beings. “
” F**k them. I don’t give a sh** what she says about me! She can f**k off.
I can tell you when she will die, and what will happen to her family. I love that about me.”
The last one was from the aforementioned show, which caused Bravo to promptly
cancel the show they were going to produce with Ms. DuBois, the next day.
I’m not here to point fingers, but maybe to explain.
Besides drinking too much, what else was going on here?
Intuition is becoming mainstream.
It’s not just for the “strange” anymore.
We are opening up to the idea that we are all “intuitive” on some level.
We are told to follow our “intuitive hits.”
Einstein said: “The only real valuable thing is intuition.”
In the past, many who are highly functioning Intuitives,
first developed our talent as a survival mechanism.
You would learn to “read a room “.
You used your sensitivity to understand the emotional undercurrents
in any given situation.
If you dared speak the truth, you were risking punishment or rejection.
What’s a poor little ” Intuititive” supposed to do?
You went underground and developed your “gift”.
If wise, you evolved spiritually and re-emerged with compassion
and a refined gift, to use as a tool to help yourself and others.
Today, you can find a variety of classes on developing your Intuition.
Not out of necessity or survival,
but as a guidance system to help you reach your highest potential.
This involves healing and maturing a wounded ego.
Not pretending you are without ego.
As the saying goes:
” The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist”.
Same goes for the ego.
What we witnessed on this show, and most reality shows, was a lot of ego-driven wounds.
From all the women, but unfortunately, especially from Allison DuBois.
This talented medium, had an emotional wound triggered and gave it
to her ego to handle, rather than her “enlightened” self.
Your Intuition is not a circus act. It is here to guide you.
To assist your development as a human and spiritual being.
This means honoring your feelings and vulnerability.
Being aware of your “shadow” , dark and light.
When these become integrated, a new kind of human being will emerge.
Intuition is a sacred skill of your soul,
one to develop and use,
in your transformational journey.
